Field of activity
As the central service provider of the DRV Bund, Department 16 "Corporate Security" is responsible for IT and physical security, the protection of personal data, confidentiality and emergency management as well as fundamental and cross-sectional tasks.
The Security Operations Center (SOC) manages the operational IT security of the DRV Bund and other affiliated pension providers. To this end, the SOC operates specialized systems for detecting vulnerabilities and attacks and acts as a central point of contact for responding to IT security incidents. The SOC also performs preventive tasks by coordinating and carrying out penetration tests.
As part of the SOC, the Data and Platform Management team takes care of the operation and configuration of the security systems and is responsible for the development of automation and the onboarding of new procedures.
Your tasks
* Integrating SOC systems into existing systems (e.g. ticketing systems, log sources) via APIs and other interfaces and developing automations
* Taking on board requirements for automation and integration solutions and advising other teams on them
* Continuous improvement of automations and integrations
* Operation, maintenance and monitoring of the SOC systems
* Supporting the introduction and change of platform technologies, e.g. implementation of PoCs
* Creating and maintaining documentation on systems, configurations and processes
Your profile
* A university degree (Bachelor, Diploma) in IT or an equivalent qualification, e.g. due to an IT-specific qualification or completed vocational training in IT with relevant, task-relevant professional experience
* Initial practical experience in IT security
* In-depth knowledge of scripting, software development with Bash, JavaScript and Go
* Experience in the areas of data center infrastructure, operating systems (Linux/Windows), container environments and network protocols
* Business fluent in German and very good written and spoken English skills
* Strong communication skills, coordination skills and an independent and self-organized way of working round off your profile

The position requires the willingness to participate in a security check (SÜ) in accordance with Section 9 of the Security Check Act (SÜG) and its positive completion.
These tasks require the willingness to participate in the on-call duty to be ensured in the team and, in urgent cases, to work outside regular working hours (e.g. at weekends).
