A Snapshot of Your Day In the area of project scheduling at Siemens Energy Transmission, no two days are the same. As a vital member of the project management team, you will encounter new challenges daily across all project phases.Whether you are engaged in a project proposal or completing forward-looking electricity transmission projects, you actively contribute to the energy transition. You contribute to a balanced power supply strategy that will be further carried out in the coming years through numerous projects.Your responsibilities include planning and implementing project goals collaboratively and proactively, providing the project with direction to effectively address any challenges that may arise. Your work helps establish the foundations necessary to secure the energy supply of the future.How You’ll Make an Impact
1. Perform scheduling during the bid or settlement phase for complex turnkey power transmission projects.
2. Develop, customize, and update a settlement schedule with over 4,000 activities using Primavera P6 scheduling software.
3. Plan and coordinate contract schedules with project management, engineering teams, construction management, or subcontractors throughout the execution phase.
4. Consistently revise the schedule, taking into account established project management techniques and project reporting (critical path analysis, achievement trend analysis, earned value management, deviation analysis, etc.).
5. Detect deviations and develop appropriate countermeasures to ensure flawless project execution.
.What You Bring
6. Completed studies with a technical background or technical training with many years of professional experience.
7. Broad career expertise with in-depth familiarity in scheduling strategies, resource management, project coordination, critical path assessment, and network structuring.
8. Significant experience in engineering, manufacturing, installation, and commissioning interfaces.
9. Expert knowledge in PRIMAVERA Enterprise, P6 / MS Project and experience in EPC projects, ideally in the field of power transmission.
10. Intercultural experience and the ability to work in a diverse team.
11. Business proficient in German and English.
