Are you passionate about sourcing and managing procurement contracts and are you ready to join our team and actively support our fast-growing company? We are looking for a Subcontract Management expert who is ready to take responsibility for assigned complex and technically challenging work packages from contract award to project completion. In this role, you will be a critical part of a highly team-oriented organization working with interdisciplinary interfaces to functional areas such as engineering, project and commercial management, scheduling, legal and construction management.
Explore your tasks and responsibilities
1. Monitoring and progress control of subcontractor performance
2. Commercial processing of subcontractor claims
3. Supplement and change management to/from subcontractors
4. Claim management in close coordination with contract management
5. Minimization of risks that may arise due to delays on the part of subcontractors
6. Negotiating the conclusion of contracts
7. Close cooperation with engineering, design, quality, scheduling and project management
8. Continuous improvement management through regular feedback, e.g. lessons learned
9. Regular reporting to the Project Procurement Manager
Show your expertise
10. You have a degree in economics or engineering
11. You are very familiar with the construction industry (building construction, civil engineering) and contracts in accordance with VOB, BGB or HOAI
12. You have a high level of commercial and technical competence
13. You are experienced in using MS Office (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel) and SAP (an advantage) and have a good command of written and spoken German and English (at least level B2)
14. You are flexible and willing to travel, even for longer assignments on our construction sites within Germany
15. You are ready to act, deliver results and collaborate across the company
16. You actively make decisions and take responsibility for the decisions you make
17. You are open to working on projects and welcome change as an opportunity for development
18. You drive your own development and encourage others to explore opportunities beyond their comfort zone
