Your Responsibilities:
7. Sizing of structural parts, components and installations made from metal and carbon fiber materials using state of the art analysis tools, FEM techniques and classic handbook methods
8. Trade off analysis for design solutions and structural concepts
9. Analysis of mechanical systems and equipment integration
10. Preparation of analysis reports and statements to support air frame qualification
11. Assessment of damages and development of repairs for in-service A/C
12. Support to manufacturing and assembly lines and evaluation of concessions and non-conformities
13. Communication to relevant stakeholders and adjacent departments
Your Profile:
14. Completed studies in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or comparable
15. Several years of professional experience as Engineer in aircraft structural analysis
16. Experience in the application of specific stress analysis and FEM tools (e.g. Nastran, Hyperworks etc.)
17. Good knowledge of standard stress analysis methods (e.g. HSB, Bruhn, ESDU, Roark & Young)
18. Experience in stress analysis of pipe works or impact simulations is a plus
19. Fluent German and English skills spoken and written
