As an Environmental Sustainability and Energy Efficiency Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the site's environmental compliance and implementing sustainable practices. This includes managing environmental, water, waste, and energy budgets, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and developing innovative projects to reduce the site's ecological footprint.

You will be responsible for creating and implementing standards for ISO 14001 and ISO 50001, performing internal and external audits, and providing training documents on environment/chemicals and energy at the site.

The ideal candidate will have successfully completed engineering studies with a focus on energy management or environmental technology, and possess experience in project and process management, as well as knowledge of relevant environmental laws and regulations.

SAP knowledge and proficiency in MS Office are advantageous, and fluency in German and English is required.

This role requires strategic thinking, high social and leadership skills, assertiveness, and the ability to work effectively in a team.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage environmental, water, waste, and energy budgets while identifying cost-saving opportunities;

2. Develop and implement innovative environmental, water, waste, and energy projects focused on cost efficiency;

3. Create and implement standards for ISO 14001 and ISO 50001;

4. Perform internal and external audits as a lead auditor;
">
5. Prepare training documents on environment/chemicals and energy at the site;
">
6. Advise on sustainability issues and translate group strategy into operational actions;
">
7. Develop measures for strengthening the sustainability culture/mindset at the site.

8. Successfully completed engineering studies with a focus on energy management or environmental technology;

9. Experience in project and process management;

10. Knowledge of ISO 14001/50001 and ideally training as an auditor;

11. Experience in dealing with authorities and administrative procedures as well as knowledge of environmental laws and relevant legal standards;

12. Initial experience in personnel management and employee development;

13. SAP knowledge is an advantage, proficiency in MS Office;

14. Fluency in German and English;
