Our client, a dynamic and friendly financial services firm located near the Belgian border, is currently looking for a Fund Accounting Manager to support the firm's steady expansion. You will oversee a diversified portfolio of Private Equity funds, taking ownership of both operational and supervisory aspects while contributing to process improvements and team development.
Your Responsibilities
* Oversee and review the accounting production for a portfolio of Private Equity funds
* Supervise NAV calculations, closings, and financial reporting
* Manage and mentor a team of accountants, ensuring quality and timely delivery
* Act as a technical reference on accounting and PE fund topics
* Coordinate with auditors, administrators, and external stakeholders
* Participate in the optimization of internal processes and implementation of best practices
Your Profile
* Approximately 9 years of experience in Private Equity fund accounting
* Proven background in both production and team supervision
* Fluent in French and English (spoken and written)
* Strong knowledge of NAV calculation, Lux GAAP and/or IFRS
* Autonomous and organized, capable of managing a portfolio independently
* Natural leadership, coaching mindset, and a drive to develop others
* Confident user of accounting software and advanced Excel skills
