We are currently seeking a highly motivated PhD candidate with a strong background in cell biology to join our research team.
Research Project
The proposed project will investigate the cellular and molecular mechanisms governing endothelial cell behavior in response to mechanical stimuli. The ultimate goal is to understand how endothelial cells modulate their cytoskeleton, adhesion dynamics, and gene expression in response to mechanical forces.
This project will involve a combination of advanced cell culture techniques, quantitative image analysis, and molecular biology methods to elucidate the underlying mechanisms.
Requirements
* A PhD in cell biology or a related field with a strong focus on cellular mechanics.
* Excellent skills in cell culture work, quantitative image analysis, and microscopy.
* Familiarity with molecular biology techniques and immunocytochemistry is advantageous.
Strong communication skills and an interest in interdisciplinary research are essential for this position.
Formal applications should include a cover letter outlining research interests, a CV, a list of publications (if applicable), and contact details for two academic referees.
