In less than 10 minutes.ResponsibilitiesDesign and optimize the detector system, including detector-related electronics and firmware for our high-precision EUV mask metrology and inspection platform, analyzing requirements and translating them into customer-oriented solutions.Develop and evaluate performance budgets, derive modular system and component concepts, and ensure their functionality through simulation and testing.Ensure overall functionality and feasibility throughout the product lifecycle, including procurement, integration, testing, transportation, and compliance.Shape the development of the entire system with development partners from conception to series production.Coordinate and optimize interfaces with the overall system.Contribute to integrating detector solutions into the technical overall concept for EUV mask metrology systems and influence the structure and performance of the entire system.Identify requirements and solutions for the technology roadmap in the metrology sector.Promote knowledge transfer within the team and coordinate complex development tasks.ProfileSuccessfully completed degree in a scientific-technical field with a focus on optics/optoelectronics/system engineering (PhD preferred).Relevant professional experience in developing advanced optical detectors (EUV and TDI experience advantageous), including project management.Passion for precision measurement technology and excellent knowledge of optical detector principles, manufacturing, integration, characterization, lifespan, detector data processing with high data rates, and MATLAB skills.High degree of independence, innovation, and ability to clearly and structurally present complex issues.Structured, goal-oriented, collaborative, and customer-focused working style.Teamwork skills and enjoyment working in a global team.Excellent German and English language skills, both spoken and written.What we offerPlease note: A valid work permit for Germany is required for non-EU citizens.
