Job Title: Deputy Site Manager / Construction Supervisor
Locations: Various Construction Sites Throughout Germany (Long-Term Projects)
Job Description
Coordinate daily construction activities at the project site to ensure all activities comply with the project quality plan, specifications, and site program. Plan the activities in order to effectively use resources to meet the construction program. Review specification drawings in order to resolve any discrepancies or conflicts. Monitor materials, equipment, and manpower on-site in order to ensure that the appropriate materials are available to meet the construction program timing.
An Experienced Professional (P2) applies practical knowledge of the job area typically obtained through advanced education and work experience. May require the following proficiency:

* Problems faced are difficult but typically not complex
* May influence others within the job area through explanation of facts, policies, and practices
Key Tasks
* Monitoring execution for compliance with the planning and execution documents
* Monitoring the execution of supporting structures
* Coordination of specialist planners and other technical personnel involved in the construction
* Preparation and monitoring of a construction schedule
* Maintaining the construction log
* Measurements in collaboration with the contractors
* Invoice auditing
* Monitoring the rectification of defects
* Cost control
* Installation of switchgear/FACT
* Installation activities in Germany
* GIS & ancillary trades
* Other: We also welcome individuals who are interested in further development
Requirements
* Electrical engineering background is mandatory (degree and work experience)
* Solid HSE knowledge – candidate will have experience in HSE for a minimum of 2 years ideally
* Experience in substations is desirable
* German fluency is required for the ability to communicate with German-speaking stakeholders
* English fluency is a plus
* Driver’s license and vehicle required (travel to be expensed)
* Candidate may be required to travel to different sites country-wide (approx. 4 to 5 different sites)
* Required G25 health examinations
