Seeking an experienced Senior Energy Technical Lead to drive growth and excellence across our energy portfolio, particularly in electrical grid modernization, energy generation, battery energy storage systems, and heat networks. As a Technical Lead, you will lead energy projects, organize technical delivery, ensure technical excellence, and be a growth leader and advocate through trusted relationships with clients and stakeholders.
The role focuses on developing and implementing strategies for our energy business, building long-term relationships, driving business development, defining project delivery strategies, and ensuring compliance with regulations and standards. You will oversee high-quality project delivery, provide expert guidance, and manage contracts while promoting collaboration, innovation, and operational excellence within the team.
Key Responsibilities
* Leadership and Strategy: Develop and implement AECOM's Energy strategy in Germany, build and maintain client relationships, and drive business development activities.
* Project Delivery and Technical Excellence: Lead multidisciplinary teams, ensure technical solutions comply with regulations, and oversee project delivery on time and within budget.
* Team Development and Innovation: Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and digital innovation, support technical skills development, and champion operational excellence.
Requirements
We are looking for an experienced professional with proven experience delivering complex energy projects in the German energy sector. Strong technical expertise in HV/MV/LV electrical systems is required, along with a degree in Engineering preferably specializing in High Voltage Electrical Engineering. Data Center experience is an advantage, as well as minimum 15 years of professional experience ideally within the energy sector.
