Position: Software Engineer Lead
We are seeking a professional Software Engineer Team Lead to join our growing team in Hanover, MD! This role involves collaborating with system users, requirements owners, and contractors to translate operational needs into software requirements, designs, and implementations.
This is an opportunity to contribute to the newly formed PM Cyber & Space and be part of the rapidly expanding Cyber Infrastructure Product Office, focusing on key capabilities within offensive cyber operations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with stakeholders to translate operational requirements into software solutions.
2. Plan, coordinate, and oversee software development and integration activities across various platforms.
3. Develop and execute software and system testing strategies.
4. Review contractor software code for compliance with standards.
5. Support government oversight of contractor activities, including agile development processes, requirements prioritization, and system delivery.
6. Provide multi-disciplinary solutions for technical problems.
Must-Have Requirements:
* Active TS/SCI clearance
* Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams
* Knowledge of DoD 5000 acquisition lifecycle
* 10+ years in software development
* 3+ years managing software teams
* 3+ years in cyber or C4ISR systems
* Experience leading large agile teams
* Proficiency with Agile methodologies and DevOps tools
* Experience with Unix and Windows OS
* Familiarity with APIs and Ansible Playbooks
* Proficiency in Python and/or Java
* Strong communication skills for technical briefings
Education & Certification:
* Master’s Degree in Engineering or IT; or equivalent experience
