As a Working Student Software Engineer in the Marketing Engineering Team, you will have a direct impact on Heyjobs’ marketing performance. In this role, you will have an opportunity to take part in designing, building, optimizing and maintaining services and tools which we use to generate job ads, analyze and control marketing performance and integrate with marketing partners.
As part of our team, you’ll have the opportunity to work with different programming languages like Python, Ruby, JS (React), and a modern cloud-based tech stack based on AWS (dockerized as well as some serverless).
In addition, our cross-functional team enables marketing managers and engineers to work closely together, to bring the talent acquisition marketing that HeyJobs does for clients to the next level.
In this role, you can earn a target salary between 16 - 18 €/hourly.

* Design, build, improve, and maintain tools and services that generate job ads, analyze marketing performance, integrate with marketing partners, support internal teams like marketing managers and the customer success team, and assist with operational tasks, in collaboration with the Technical Product Owner, Tech Lead, and team.

🤝 What sets you up for success
* Student status in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Physics or Engineering
* Good English skills - both in writing as well as speaking
* Good knowledge of Ruby or Python and interest to learn and work with both
* Experience in the unix/linux environment
* Passion for writing code and good logical skills
* Pragmatic, can-do attitude (you like to dive deep and get things done)
* Proactive and self-reliant - you work independently with some guidance
* Reliable and committed to deliver solutions fast
* Willingness to write and maintain well structured documentation
Bonus:
* Good knowledge of relational databases and SQL
* Experience in working with AWS (ECS, Lambda)
* Experience in building APIs using Ruby (Rails) and integrating with 3rd parties
* Experience in JS/React
* Experience of using Docker or other containerization technologies
