Your Role
The vision of the Omnichannel Sales (OCS) organization is to enable our customers (Eye Care Professionals) to succeed with consumers who want to buy online. The Head of Digital Measurement Platform is responsible for developing and implementing measurement solutions that allow users to perform measurements with expert guidance only when needed, building on existing data whenever possible. This leader will oversee global product development, create and execute the technology roadmap, organize the "how" of product development, and ensure quality and efficiency in the long term. The measurement products will be integrated into the Vision Care ecosystem and solutions for large customers and key accounts. By monitoring the competitive landscape, including tech start-ups and research institutes, the Head will provide strategic insights to the OCS and VIS strategies. Pilot products and IP will be generated to maintain Vision Care's leadership in omnichannel solutions, showcasing our innovative strength. Additional responsibilities include:
* Product development of digital measurement product portfolio
* Alignment of product implementation and go-to-market strategies
* Development of technology strategy for Digital Measurement Solutions
* Facilitating cross-department collaboration
* Managing interfaces with other departments, external partners, and customers
Your Profile
* Master's or diploma degree in vision science, optometry, ophthalmic science, or a related field; Ph.D. preferred
* 5+ years of relevant experience in digital product design, development, and implementation
* Proven ability in autonomous project management and steering
* Knowledge of agile software development and new working methodologies
* Scientific and patent-related expertise in digital measurement (preferred)
* Experience with complex B2B and B2B2C products in an international setting
* Multicultural experience in global companies
* Strong result orientation, self-driven, and autonomous work style
* Entrepreneurial spirit and data-driven mindset
* Interest in innovation, market trends, and integrating them into product strategies
* Excellent communication skills, assertiveness, and goal orientation, with the ability to present complex concepts to stakeholders and senior management
* Fluent in English and German, both written and oral
* Analytical, data-driven, with a good understanding of customer and consumer needs
* Flexible and adaptable to dynamic environments
* Willing to meet milestones on time and maintain quality standards
* Passionate about consumer-facing, technology-driven digital products that influence conversion and user behavior
* Ability to manage cross-functional, intercultural teams and projects
* Willing to travel internationally and work across different time zones
