ETF Sales Specialist - DACH – Associate Director Location: Germany About A global investment firm, covering a diverse set of asset classes and business sectors is looking for a ETF Sales Specialist - DACH, to sit within the ETF Distribution Team, with particular focus on building out and further developing its presents across the DACH region. The firm has global reach, with clients ranging from sovereign wealth funds, institutional/corporate clients to wealth managers and high net worths. Responsibilities Develop the ETF distribution capability for the firm at the DACH region Worked with wholesale and institutional clients, sales and marketing campaigns within the ETF ecosphere, preparing information and data, preparing meeting materials, fund buyer and fund seller sales collateral and pitch documents, RFPs, including data administration and compliance reviews Help further develop the ETF strategy for the region, researching and test client outcomes and strategies, to identify new product opportunities Management and coordination with internal stakeholders across ETF Capital markets, ETF Investment Strategy and ETF Product. Drive and lead the build-out of the firms ETF proposition, as well as the further business expansion into new business segments Perform and lead annual sales planning with distribution heads Drive and support the distribution teams in the setup and coordination of new client partnerships Act as local point of contact for all oversight related departments such as compliance, regulatory, risk management and audit in partnership with the ETF Platform and Product team Feed into reporting a management information in relation to client servicing and client strategy Participate in selected client events, e.g. support in inviting clients, preparing presentations and servicing clients during the event Requirements Bachelors or masters level degree Strong ETF sales experience in the asset management or ETF issure. In-depth knowledge on the asset managements distribution landscape, client segments and market trends Experience and understanding of the ETF business and willingness to proactively expand expertise Proven ability to be a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and a hands-on mentality Proven experience to lead highly complex initiatives across multiple stakeholders Proven ability to build successful external and internal relationships and manage stakeholders up to board level Experience of mobilising, structuring and generating momentum Ability to deal successfully with ambiguity and draw out the issues to be addressed Organised with ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines Fluent in both German and English with outstanding communication skills
