Your Tasks
1. Design and maintenance of statistical and machine learning models for demand forecasting and inventory optimization
2. Analysis of large-scale supply chain data (SAP, RELEX, sales) for trend detection, anomaly identification, and improvement opportunity assessment
3. Development of decision-support tools and dashboards for replenishment, planning, and inventory management
4. Collaboration with Operations, IT, Category Management, and other stakeholders for the integration of predictive models into supply chain processes
5. Monitoring and improvement of KPIs such as forecast accuracy, inventory turns, stock availability, and system usage
6. Leadership of research initiatives on new forecasting techniques, optimization models, and technologies
7. Support of automation initiatives for manual processes, including user training and change management
8. Contribution to continuous improvement through the identification and implementation of best practices
Your Profile
9. Bachelor’s/Master’s in Data Science, Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Supply Chain Management, or related field
10. Advanced proficiency in Python or R for analytics and predictive modeling
11. Strong SQL skills and experience handling large datasets
12. Knowledge of time series, machine learning forecasting, and inventory optimization techniques
13. Familiarity with optimization tools (. Gurobi, SAS)
14. Strong quantitative and problem-solving skills, with ability to communicate complex analytics clearly
15. Collaborative, proactive, and adaptable mindset
16. Fluent in English, fluency in German is an advantage
