Working Student - Automation Engineer

As the People Tech team, our mission is to enable long-term scalability by fostering a data-informed culture through seamless systems and a people-centric employee experience and as our Automation Engineer - Working Student, you will help transform how SumUp operates by automating manual and time-intensive processes across People Operations, Field Sales, and supporting functions. This role is perfect for a student or early-career professional who loves experimenting with tools, building MVPs, and solving real problems through technology. Create simple scripts or connectors to help sync data between platforms such as Google Workspace, Workday, Greenhouse, and Leapsome.
You're curious, hands-on, and love learning new tools or finding faster ways to get things done.
You have some familiarity with no-/low-code tools or basic scripting (JavaScript, Python, or Google Apps Script).
Basic understanding of integrations, webhooks, or data flows.
Exposure to process documentation or UX thinking.
