What you can expect
Your core responsibilities include providing and maintaining IT infrastructure for our national and international client projects focused on sustainable public transportation. You will act as an integrator between the various departments within INIT and serve as the primary interface between hardware and software in our projects.
Here’s a glimpse into your responsibilities
* You will coordinate the provision of the necessary resources (on-premise, virtual, cloud) in close collaboration with clients and technical teams
* You will primarily be responsible for the planning, setup, and operation of network and security infrastructures, virtualization platforms, and Active Directory environments
* You will work with our development team to get to the root of complex problems, perform 2nd- and 3rd-level analyses and troubleshooting, and continuously ensure that vulnerabilities are addressed and our clients’ infrastructure is developed in a secure and sustainable manner
* As part of your role, you will contribute to the creation of our technical concepts and documentation for our global tenders
What you bring to the table
* You have completed vocational training or a degree in IT and can demonstrate relevant professional experience
* In-depth knowledge of hardware, network technologies, storage systems, and IT security
* Proficiency in administering Microsoft and Linux operating systems, as well as proven experience in installing, configuring, and managing virtualized environments with VMware and Hyper-V, including data backup solutions
* Knowledge of Citrix technologies and NetScaler ADC, as well as experience with container technologies, is a real plus for us
* You can see the results of your work firsthand during occasional on-site customer visits
* Teamwork is more than just a buzzword for you, and you demonstrate initiative
* You communicate confidently in German and English
