As a Security Specialist (m/f/d) you are responsible for developing and implementing the information security measures and responding to security events. You will ensures the security and integrity of TenneT's critical information and processes, making sure the light keeps on. Further responsibility of the Security Specialist lies in safeguarding all data, devices, infrastructure and systems against malware, exploit attempts, intrusions and attacks. Your main tasks:
* Implement the information security, compliant with the required guidelines and German regulatory laws and requirements
* Deploy and maintain information security technologies with respect to the latest technological advancements in the field of cybersecurity
* First line of defense: Contact for Asset Chain Germany for all IT security issues
* Determining security measures based on the security level of IT services & Implement protective measures
* Conducting and supporting audits (ISMS, ENTSOE) / Advising on contracts and tenders
* Supporting/managing projects related to current IT security issues & support on operational information security topics
* Provide security awareness, education, best practices, ISMS training and communication to stakeholders and TenneT as a whole
* Report security incidents to relevant stakeholders and take appropriate steps
* Completed Master/Bachelor education (preferred computer science, IT/cyber security or similar), supplemented by CISSP, CISM, EDP audit and/or CISA
* At least 5 years of practical IT Security, Risk & Compliance experience & demonstrated knowledge of the fields of information security, IT compliance management and risk management
* Strong on written and presentation skills
* Proficient in the English and German language
* Analytical and independent working style, coupled with teamwork and strong communication skills
* You are assertive and can handle stress well
* Willingness to assume responsibility for projects and committees
