Our Client: A leading global developer/IPP operating right across the renewables sector with a pipeline of Onshore Wind, Solar PV + BESS projects.
The Role:
As Head of Acquisition, you will be entrusted with leading the expansion and establishment of new locations across renewables; whilst being responsible for building and managing a high-performing team to success.
Some duties would include:
Responsible for further expansion of the business into new locations.
Lead and manage a team of Land Acquisition Managers in successful project identification and prioritization.
Manage commercial and technical negotiations with key stakeholders.
Ensure all activities adhere with German laws & regulations.
Collaborate with senior leadership on long-term strategic plans.
The Person:
The successful candidate will have:
~3+ years’ experience in renewable energy acquisition activities; although other backgrounds may also be considered e.g. real estate, agriculture.
~ Must demonstrate strong leadership and strategic abilities.
~ Use your network and expertise to bring in new project opportunities.
~ Be the single point of contact for your team and clients during project implementation.
~ Speak German to C1 level or higher.
The ideal candidate will be located in Berlin, Hamburg & surrounding areas. Candidates located outside of this are will also be considered.
