This is a strategic leadership opportunity to build, coach, and guide a growing field medical team supporting launches in Rare Disease and Neurology .You’ll be responsible for leading a team of 6 MSLs, with plans to expand to 10, and will play a pivotal role in national field strategy, talent development, and scientific engagement across the region.This is a home-based position, open to candidates located anywhere in Germany.What You’ll Be DoingLead and support a high-performing team of MSLs across Germany, fostering a culture of trust, scientific excellence, and continuous developmentProvide strategic oversight on field engagement plans and ensure alignment with global medical affairs objectivesServe as a senior point of contact for internal stakeholders (Medical, Commercial, Clinical) and external thought leadersConduct field coaching, 1 : 1 development sessions, and performance reviewsDrive consistency and quality in medical insight gathering and disseminationRepresent the German medical team in cross-functional planning meetings and contribute to launch readinessWho We’re Looking ForWe welcome candidates with strong Medical Affairs expertise who are ready to step into their first line management role, as well as those with prior leadership experience.You might be a senior MSL, Medical Advisor, or experienced cross-functional leader who has mentored others and is ready to lead a team directly.Key Criteria :Medical Affairs experience, ideally within MSL / Field Medical Advisor role.Proven mentorship, coaching, or team leadership experience (in any function)Fluent English (German not needed but a significant advantage).Scientific or clinical background (MSc, PhD, PharmD, or MD preferred)Strong communicator with the ability to motivate and leadIndication background : Open to all (Rare Disease / Neurology is a plus but not required)Additional Roles AvailableNot sure if the Team Lead role is quite right?
