Your key responsibilities
1. Lead global projects to improve QC labs' competency and efficiency, including organization, operational excellence, harmonization of LIMS, and support for New Product Introduction in QC activities.
2. Develop, implement, and drive a comprehensive Quality Control oversight strategy aligned with Corporate Quality and manufacturing site objectives, focusing on compliance, efficiency, global standardization of analytical processes, data integrity, and equipment standards.
3. Maintain and drive QC topics across all manufacturing sites, ensuring consistent and harmonized standards across 15 Quality Control Units.
4. Define performance metrics and KPIs for manufacturing QC labs in collaboration with Corporate Quality.
5. Lead the deployment of the future Aenova LIMS project across QC labs, including planning, budgeting, and resource management.
6. Provide input on capital investment plans for QC, including equipment, technology, and IT applications.
7. Support QC teams during inspections, audits, and customer inquiries by providing technical expertise.
8. Oversee projects aimed at improving the cost of quality.
Your profile
1. At least 15 years of professional experience in the Quality Control Unit within the pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device sectors, in a senior role.
2. Advanced degree (e.g., PhD) in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Biology, or related sciences.
3. Proven experience in Operational Excellence / Lean Six Sigma, preferably Black Belt certified.
4. Deep knowledge of drug regulations, GxP standards, and processes.
5. Flexibility, problem-solving skills, and negotiation capabilities.
6. Strong team player with excellent communication skills, comfortable working in a matrix organization.
7. Cross-cultural experience and collaboration skills.
8. Fluent in English; proficiency in German or Italian is a plus.
