To support its workforce, the University offers a wide range of development opportunities (upskilling, reskilling, transversal skills) to its employees and doctoral candidates, via the Competence Center, which plays a key role in aligning and enhancing professional development across the institution.Training for LuxembourgThe Competence Centre offers several tailored training programmes to address the specific needs of Luxembourg, particularly emphasising existing activities in the health sector and ICT/digital learning and teaching.All three areas benefit from the Competence Centre's expertise and tools in digital learning, which include online courses, MOOCs, webinars, and other flexible and accessible e-learning formats.Your roleAs Head of ULCC, you will embrace the following responsibilities:Shape the University's strategy for academic continuing education under the academic responsibility of the Vice-Rector for Academic and Student AffairsBe a driving force for the development of new academic continuing education programs that meet societal needsEstablish strategic partnerships, both public and private, that will enable the University's academic continuing education programmes to meet societal and learner needsPosition ULCC's service offerings in national and international markets, emphasizing innovation and digitalizationBe an inspiring and motivating leader for the other ULCC teams (Learning and Development, Digital and ICT)Oversee the ULCC's daily operationsYour profileCandidates must demonstrate the following profile:A Master's degree or equivalent is mandatory; a PhD, particularly in education, management, or related disciplines, is strongly advantageousA large experience in supervision and management of a medium-sized team in the field of academic continuing educationExperience in stakeholder management, collaborations with both private and public partners, and in setting-upStrong team-oriented, listening, and diplomatic skills, comfortable operating in a multidisciplinary and multicultural environmentFluency in French and English; proficiency in German and/or Luxembourgish is an assetWe offerMultilingual and international character.
