Your mission:
* Lead and mentor a small but diverse team of QA engineers – with part of the team working remotely,
* Help grow our QA organization in line with the expanding number of products,
* Shape the team culture, quality mindset, and testing best practices across the entire R&D organization,
* Design and continuously improve QA processes and standards with a high degree of autonomy,
* Establish and maintain quality gates, with the authority to influence and approve release decisions,
* Define quality assurance processes and procedures and ensure they are tightly embedded in our agile development workflow,
* Drive the expansion of our test automation landscape and define technical direction for automation frameworks and tooling,
* Implement systematic defect prevention and quality engineering practices to elevate product stability and customer satisfaction,
* Collaborate closely with Product Management and Development teams to clarify requirements, support release planning, and ensure high-quality delivery,
* Make a direct contribution to improving performance, reliability, stability, and customer satisfaction, with a visible impact on the enduser experience.
Tools the succesful candidate will be working with:
* Linux, Git, Gitlab, Python, Playwright,
* Collaboration Tools: YouTrack, Confluence.
Your profile:
* Successfully completed studies in computer science, electrical engineering, software engineering, or related qualifications,
* 4+ years of professional experience,
* Deep knowledge of software testing methodologies (functional, regression, integration, system, exploratory, riskbased testing),
* Certification at ISTQB Foundation Level, and experience with ISO9001 is a plus,
* Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile/Scrum processes,
* Experience with version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines,
* Leadership potential with experience mentoring junior developers or leading small teams,
* Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams,
* Fluent English communication skills are a must-have (German is a plus but not required).
