Main Responsibilities:
* Talent Acquisition & Employer Branding
* Lead end-to-end recruitment for the Munich office and regional roles, ensuring timely hiring of top talent across retail, operations, and corporate functions.
* Build the employer brand presence in Germany and the EU, leveraging partnerships with universities, job platforms, and industry associations.
* HR Operations & Compliance
* Manage day-to-day HR operations, including contracts, payroll coordination with local providers, employee records, and HRIS maintenance.
* Ensure compliance with German labor laws, works council requirements, and EU employment regulations.
* Employee Experience & Engagement
* Drive onboarding, orientation, and cultural integration for new employees.
* Develop engagement programs and initiatives to foster a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performance workplace culture.
* Support employee relations and provide guidance to managers on performance management and conflict resolution.
* Learning & Development
* Partner with global HR to design and implement training programs tailored to retail and corporate needs in Europe.
* Identify skill gaps and propose development initiatives for leadership, retail operations, and technical teams.
* Strategic HR Partnership
* Act as a trusted advisor to local leadership, supporting workforce planning, organizational development, and change management.
* Collaborate closely with global HR and leadership teams to ensure alignment with company-wide people strategy and initiatives.
* Compensation & Benefits
* Coordinate salary benchmarking, benefits administration, and annual performance review cycles in line with global frameworks and local market practices.
Qualifications:
* 2+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably within retail, consumer goods, or mobility sectors.
* Strong knowledge of German labor law and HR compliance.
* Proven experience in recruitment, HR operations, and employee engagement.
* Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent German verbal and written communication skills; English proficiency is required.
* Being an avid cyclist and/or passionate about the world on two wheels would really help you thrive in this role, but it is not a necessity.
