Your Responsibilities as (Senior) Java Developer (f/m/d)
7. Engage in the development and enhancement of the GERAS internal management software for insurance policies, premiums, and claims
8. Participate in the decoupling and migration of GERAS interfaces to an accounting software system, primarily converting Database Procedures to Java
9. Contribute to feature development and improvements in the data transfer process, transferring data between multiple locations
10. Implement general development tasks and enhancements related to the integration and interfacing of GERAS with external systems via web services
11. Execute the migration of system components (i.e. databases, Swing frontends)
12. Enhance the user experience and functionality of the GERAS Swing Client application
Your Qualification and Skills
13. Cloud technologies such as Azure, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines
14. Test automation tools such as Gherkin, Cucumber Methodologies
15. Agile and Scrum frameworks for project management
16. DevOps practices, including Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) Ideal Candidate Profile
17. Proficient in Java development, particularly with Spring Boot and Java Swing
18. Strong experience in Oracle Database development and migration tasks
19. Familiarity with cloud platforms and container orchestration systems
20. Background in Agile methodologies, with experience in Scrum teams
21. Understanding of DevOps principles and practices, particularly in CI/CD pipelines
