Stellenbeschreibung The IT Onboarding & Offboarding Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring smooth technology onboarding and offboarding experiences for all employees. Working closely with HR, IT, and Facilities teams, this role is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing the IT aspects of employee lifecycle events—from preparing hardware and accounts for new joiners to ensuring proper return and tracking of equipment during offboarding. This position combines organizational skills, process ownership, and hands-on hardware preparation to support our growing and dynamic work environment. Coordination & Planning Act as the main point of contact between IT and HR for onboarding/offboarding schedules and requirements. Align with HR and team leads on upcoming joiners and leavers, ensuring IT tasks and resources are prepared in advance. Coordinate special hardware/software requests and role-specific access setup. Onboarding Preparation Prepare and configure laptops, phones, and accessories ahead of new hire start dates. Ensure all hardware is correctly tagged, inventoried, and documented in systems like Snipe-IT. Create and validate user accounts, group memberships, and license assignments based on onboarding templates. Offboarding Management Track offboarding dates and ensure timely deactivation of user accounts, license revocation, and data handling. Manage device returns from departing employees, ensuring accurate asset reconciliation. Refurbish and reallocate returned equipment for future use. Inventory Oversight Maintain up-to-date and accurate inventory of IT equipment. Ensure adequate stock levels of laptops, accessories, and peripherals for upcoming onboarding waves. Collaborate with procurement to forecast and request additional equipment as needed. Process Improvement Proactively identify inefficiencies in the onboarding/offboarding process and suggest improvements. Maintain documentation for IT onboarding/offboarding workflows and checklists.
