Lab Analyst Flow cytometry (m/f/d)
Your responsibilities:
* Perform instrument quality control, calibration, compensation, and troubleshooting to ensure
consistent, high-quality data output.
* Schedule and perform regular maintenance and performance validation in line with manufacturer
recommendations.
* Assist in panel design, sample preparation, staining, acquisition, and data analysis using FlowJo
or similar software.
* Support the development and execution of high throughput flow-based assays, including
immunophenotyping, cell viability, cell cycle and cytokine profiling.
* Develop and implement SOPs for instrument calibration, compensation, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting.
* Maintain accurate documentation of experiments and service logs for compliance and reproducibility.
* Collaborate closely with scientists on immuno-oncology studies, including tumor microenvironment
profiling and immune cell characterization.
* Cell culture
* General Lab tasks such as participation in lab organization
Our requirements:
* Bachelor or Masters degree in Biology, Biochemistry or related fields.
* Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience with maintenance and operation of flow cytometers
with preference for hands-on experience with BD Fortessa
* Solid understanding of flow cytometry principles, sample preparation, and multi-color panel optimization
* Experience with high throughput FACS acquisition and analysis at 96/384 well scale is required
* Experience with immuno-oncology is preferred
* Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
* Very good English skills are essential and good German skills are desirable
