The Role
As a Founding Software Engineer, you will work closely with the founders to build and scale the platform from the ground up. You will have significant influence over product direction, architecture, infrastructure, and engineering culture.
This is a hands on role for someone who enjoys ownership across product development, system design, and customer delivery.
Responsibilities
1. Build AI powered applications for legal and compliance workflows
2. Develop customer facing products using TypeScript, React, and Next.js
3. Design scalable backend systems and cloud infrastructure
4. Build retrieval, reasoning, and workflow automation systems
5. Create integrations with enterprise tools and external platforms
6. Improve reliability and performance of LLM based products
7. Work directly with customers to deliver solutions and shape the roadmap
Requirements
8. Experience building and shipping products with strong ownership
9. Strong TypeScript and modern web development skills
10. Full stack engineering experience across frontend, backend, and infrastructure
11. Experience with AI applications, LLMs, retrieval systems, or workflow automation
12. Understanding of cloud infrastructure and DevOps practices
13. Ability to work in a fast moving startup environment
14. Strong communication skills and product mindset
Nice to Have
15. Experience with agent based systems or enterprise automation platforms
16. Knowledge of RAG, vector databases, knowledge graphs, or ontologies
17. Experience building evaluation and monitoring frameworks for AI systems
18. Contributions to open source projects or developer tooling
Tech Stack
TypeScript, React, Next.js, AWS, OpenTofu, proprietary DSL technology, and LLM based systems.
