As a Delivery Manager, the role will own the solution design, implementation/migration of large & complex data warehouses and associated applications on Public Cloud. This is a client-facing role, and he/she will be a trusted advisor to our clients for driving next-generation innovation and a leader in advancing Onix capabilities in the future. Lead the creation of value proposition and USP in Cloud, Data, AI/ML. BI Analytics & DevOps capability. The role is a critical building block to our core market offerings in cloud modernization & migration. As a leader for Cloud, you will collaborate with leaders in various divisions, industries, and geographies in developing & implementing solutions for our clients.
Primary Responsibilities:
* Responsible for end-to-end project delivery of Data Warehouse migration project to the cloud from project estimations, project planning, resourcing, and monitoring perspective
* Responsible for working closely with customers to understand the requirements, discuss and define various use cases
* Responsible as a partner or senior partner at a GSI leading large Data Modernization programs.
* Be able to handle customer discussions, handle situations, and make decisions.
* Formulate long-term goals and direct the organizational strategy to ensure competitive market advantage
* Manage overall budgets, drive profitability, and ensure regulatory compliance.
* Identify and manage risks/issues related to deliverables and create mitigation plans to resolve the issues and risks.
* Be able to anticipate and decide on priorities to be tackled and handled
* Be able to build a strong onshore team.
* Liaise with key stakeholders to define the big data solutions roadmap and prioritize the deliverables.
* Drive and participate in requirements gathering workshops, estimation discussions, design meetings, and status review meetings
* Participate and contribute to Solution Design and Solution Architecture for implementing migration projects.
* Monitor and review the project's status and ensure that the deliverables are on track with respect to scope, budget, and time.
* Communicate the status of the project transparently to all the stakeholders regularly.
* Seek proactive feedback continuously to identify areas of improvement
Preferred Skills and Experience:
* 18+ years of delivery & program management experience with a minimum of 6+ years in Cloud, Big Data & BI Analytics, Modernization, Migration, and Application Development.
* Strong expertise in data warehousing technologies, ETL process, and data integration
* Technical Delivery Management in the Cloud (Public & Private) with extensive hands-on knowledge of Google Cloud services and frameworks including Bigquery.
* Exposure to 2 Hyperscale Cloud Providers (GCP, Azure, or AWS) is preferred.
* Have worked in a client-facing role or at a client location.
* Ability to lead multiple teams with a strong focus on Delivery.
* Experience working in/with multi-vendor, 3rd parties, and client teams
* Good at people management and has experience leading onsite and offshore teams globally.
* Excellent articulation and written communication skills
* Provide thought leadership, lead innovation & ideation by leveraging evolving technologies to identify opportunities for efficiency in driving business excellence.
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Science or Engineering, having a Business Management Degree is preferred
Travel Expectation: Up to 15-20% travel
