Ecolab is seeking an Associate Customer Service Supervisor to join our team in Monheim am Rhein. You will provide support, training, and work direction to Customer Service Agents. Monitors performance and reviews areas that need improvement. Creates and modifies training programs. Handles difficult calls. Provides reporting and analysis support to supervisor. Has frequent contact with customers to provide or clarify information concerning service, products, pricing, billing, status of accounts, quality, or warranty/remedy questions. Responds to technical product or service application inquiries, complaints or requests for special consideration or remedies. Has complete working knowledge of computerised equipment and procedures.
How You’ll Make an Impact:
1. Provides support, training, and work direction to the local Customer Service Team and the Global Business Services Teams
2. Monitors performance and reviews areas that need improvement
3. Creates and modifies training programs
4. Provides reporting and analysis support to Senior Supervisor
5. Has frequent contact with customers to provide or clarify information concerning service, products, pricing, billing, status of accounts, quality, or warranty/remedy questions
6. Responds to technical product or service application inquiries, complaints or requests for special consideration or remedies
7. Knowledge of computerised equipment and procedures
8. Recommends and implements changes in systems and procedures ensuring that customers receive the best sales service possible
9. Oversees assigned Customer Service operations to ensure that customer claims and complaints are handled effectively
10. Understands sales initiatives, products, and distribution methods of division(s) supported
Minimum Qualifications:
11. Proven team management experience
12. Minimum 5 years of experience in customer service
13. Knowledge of personnel management
14. Advanced knowledge of product or service
15. Entrepreneurial thinking and action, as well as a results-oriented work style; strong sales and service orientation
16. Excellent knowledge of SAP/SD module required
17. Advanced MS Office skills
18. English and German C1 level
Preferred Qualifications:
19. Degree in Supply Chain / Chemicals or a science related discipline
