You’ll support our Office Manager with hands-on tasks across facilities, logistics, and day-to-day operations. This role is ideal for someone practical, reliable, and comfortable with physical tasks, who enjoys making things work behind the scenes. Support general office operations and ensure spaces remain clean, organized, and functional Handle waste management across the office, including: Taking out paper waste and general trash and supporting waste handling in shared areas and garage spaces Assist with moving and transporting items between office locations: This includes lifting and carrying heavier items (e.g., drinks, equipment, supplies) Help with basic installation and setup tasks: Assembling furniture (shelves, tables, etc.) and supporting office moves and workspace setup Assist with light facilities and maintenance tasks: Supporting ongoing improvements and setup projects Help ensure safety and order in operational areas (e.g., garage, storage spaces) Provide ad-hoc support to the Office Manager on operational and logistical needs Your profile Proven hands-on experience in office operations, facilities support, logistics, or similar practical roles Strong ability to handle physical tasks, including lifting, moving, and transporting equipment and supplies safely Solid experience with basic installation and assembly work (e.g., furniture, shelving, workspace setups) Good understanding of maintaining organized, clean, and functional work environments Experience supporting day-to-day operational tasks in dynamic environments where priorities can shift Ability to work independently, identify what needs to be done, and execute without close supervision Reliable, structured, and detail-oriented approach to tasks Clear communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset Availability to work on-site on a regular part-time schedule Nice to have Background in facilities management, caretaking (“Hausmeister”), warehouse/logistics, or similar roles Familiarity with basic tools and light maintenance or repair work Experience supporting office moves, renovations, or workspace setup projects Basic understanding of workplace safety, storage handling, and operational best practices Valid driver’s license and confidence in transporting items if needed Experience working in startup or fast-paced office environments What else Intrinsic motivation, attention to detail, and strong problem-solving mindset Creative thinker with a structured and systematic approach Humble and collaborative — prioritizes collective success over individual recognition High ethical standards and disciplined work ethic Extra-curricular leadership or achievements are a bonus Fluent in English, German a plus About us The world is changing.
