Could you be the full-time Lean Leader (f/m/d) in Mannheim we’re looking for?
Your Future Role
In Mannheim, over 1000 colleagues from 36 different countries work together to develop locomotives, as well as signal and propulsion technology for vehicles that are deployed both regionally and worldwide. Our corporate functions play a key role in supporting and continuously improving the performance of our sites.
We’ll look for you to :
• Work with Site MD & Site Management on strategic transformation using site SQCD objectives and APSYS roadmap, in the spirit and the letter of Lean
• Manage and deploy the Site Improvement Plans covering transversally all business, functions and activities of the site
• Educate & train people and deploy Lean in the domains of management, engineering, validation, project management … as well as in the operational and supply chain domains (Gemba, Kaizen, Single Week Improvement Projects, Hoshin Kanri …)
• Support each department in APSYS deployment by providing on field expertise on lean & continuous improvement tools
• Consolidate and report deployment status to Managing Director and APSYS Central team
• Self-assessment consolidation and APSYS assessment with external assessors
• Perform assessments in other sites / projects in Germany or worldwide
• Participate to lean events (webinars, Kaizen challenge...) in Germany and Europe
• Contribute as trainer to global training program on lean and continuous improvement
• Share good practices & benchmarks (internal / external) within APSYS network from Region and other Sites

* Master’s degree (engineering, quality …)
* 5 to 10 years of professional experience in industrial / engineering
* Prior experience in lean, continuous improvement would be a plus - critical thinking and problem-solving mindset
* Articulate communication up to senior management, capacity to lead by influence, result driven
* Conversant with data management and related tools including Artificial Intelligence
* Languages: German and English proficiency
