Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team as a supplier development manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating and qualifying our global supplier network, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing measures to reduce supplier risk.
Main Responsibilities:
* Evaluate and qualify suppliers based on their scalability, cost efficiency, delivery reliability, resilience, and sustainability
* Work with suppliers to implement improvements and achieve defined development targets
* Analyze suppliers' processes and KPIs to identify areas for improvement
* Implement measures to reduce supplier risk score
* Ensure supply chain compliance with global regulations, norms, and standards
Requirements:
* Procurement professional with 5+ years of experience in supplier management/development
* Experience in Lean-Methods (such as Lean-Manufacturing, 5S, Gemba, Six Sigma, CIP, Kaizen, SMED, Total Productive Maintenance, Value Stream Mapping)
* Strong technical skills in different production technologies
* Good understanding in global regulations, norms, and standards
* Experience in supplier audits and deriving reliable measures to improve supplier performance
* Good knowledge in project management
* Excellent communication skills and capability to animate diverse and demanding stakeholders
