As a Lead Financial Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting the financial operations and performance of Stryker’s Flex Financial Europe business. You will lead core FP&A processes, deliver financial insights to leadership, and collaborate with business and finance stakeholders across Europe to drive accountability and results. In addition to partnering with local and divisional teams, you’ll work closely with the Poland Finance Center to support monthly reporting and balance sheet reconciliations. This role requires a strong mix of analytical skills, business acumen, and a proactive mindset to support decision-making and identify opportunities for improvement. You will also coordinate with technical accounting on contract treatment and support the integrity of Flex’s financial reporting.
What you will do:
1. Own core FP&A responsibilities
2. Collaborate with business partners to build annual budgets, quarterly projections, and long-term financial plans
3. Analyze financial performance and prepare financial reports and presentations for leadership
4. Assist in the support of audits and related processes.
5. Calculate and own monthly commission process
6. Assist the PFC in monthly reports and reconciliations
7. Partner with local and divisional finance teams to manage financials
8. Serve as the primary liaison between Flex Finance and technical accounting to determine appropriate accounting treatment for contract structures
9. Work on ad-hoc analysis and special projects as requested
What you will need:
10. Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting
11. Fluency in English
12. 4+ years of relevant working experience in finance or accounting
13. Excellent communication & stakeholder management skills
14. Outstanding organizational and time management skills and ability to meet tight deadlines with high degree of accuracy
15. Ability to work independently in a high-paced environment
16. Ability to manage projects that will significantly impact the business up-to and including working with senior leadership
17. Proficiency with financial planning tools (e.g., Hyperion, Oracle, Power BI)
18. CPA Preferred
19. Knowledge of US GAAP
