Job Title
We are seeking a highly skilled professional to lead our global health, safety, and environmental (HSE) governance, process, and plant safety initiatives.
The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, with experience in hazardous material management, working together with authorities, and leading audits. They should also have demonstrated expertise in project management, HSE certifications, and knowledge of ISO 45001 and 14001 standards.
* Masters degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Occupational Safety, or a related field.
* Minimum 10 years of experience in comparable leadership roles, preferably in the pharmaceutical or chemical industry.
About the Role:
This is a leadership position that requires strategic thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills. The successful candidate will work closely with senior management to develop and implement HSE policies, procedures, and programs across all international sites.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop, maintain, and audit global standards for hazardous substances handling, storage, disposal, and industrial hygiene.
2. Provide global leadership in process and plant safety, including ATEX safety guidelines and ongoing compliance audits.
3. Oversee global HSE audits, standardizing processes, managing findings, and addressing systemic risks.
4. Guide and evaluate major global HSE projects to ensure strategic alignment and resource allocation.
5. Lead and support site and regional HSE managers worldwide with clear objectives and dotted-line leadership.
