Job Summary:
The Anesthesia Technical Assistant (ATA) supports anesthesiologists in preparing, maintaining, and monitoring anesthesia equipment and patients during surgical procedures, ensuring safety and efficiency throughout the process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and inspect anesthesia equipment and materials.
- Provide patient care before, during, and after anesthesia.
- Monitor vital signs (heart rate, blood pressure, respiration).
- Ensure compliance with hygiene and sterilization standards.
- Maintain accurate documentation of procedures.
- Support emergency response and resuscitation efforts.
- Collaborate closely with surgical and anesthesia teams.
Requirements:
- Completed training as Anesthesia Technical Assistant, Anesthesia Technician, or equivalent qualification.
- German language proficiency at B2 level.
- Several years of professional experience in operating theatres.
- Verified academic documents and granted work visa.
- Strong professional competence and interpersonal skills.
- Structured, quality-oriented, and efficient working style.
- Team player, flexible, motivated, and eager to learn.
