ZIB is the central IT service provider for the Lower Saxony judiciary and is responsible for a modern IT infrastructure with approximately 18,000 PC workstations. In addition, our 400 colleagues run numerous digitization projects for a modern judiciary.
To strengthen our team in department 3202 – ERV, eAkte & Cross-Sectional Procedures, we are looking for a
System Administrator for Cross-Sectional Procedures for Electronic Judicial Files (f/m/d)
Department 3202 is based in Hanover. Your place of work can be flexibly assigned to a judicial authority in Lower Saxony close to your home.
Your tasks
* You will work as part of a team to administer the centrally operated cross-sectional applications for electronic court files. In doing so, you will ensure the provision of the new, fully digital workplace at the courts and public prosecutor's offices
* You will be part of the third-level support team, performing error analyses and troubleshooting, and optimizing the use of the systems in the Lower Saxony judiciary
* You will work on IT projects for the judiciary to integrate new software products and operate future IT solutions
* You will be involved in the design, configuration, and administration of the central virtual server systems required to operate the applications, including databases and application servers, as well as in the design and optimization of processes
* You will visualize and document the project and work results
What sets you apart
* A relevant university degree (e.g., computer science) or equivalent skills and experience in the IT environment acquired through practical work
* Profound knowledge of the Microsoft universe (e.g., Active Directory, PowerShell, IIS) as well as in the administration of Windows server and client operating systems, the implementation of web services and common application servers
* Good knowledge of relational database systems such as MS SQL Server and/or Oracle in operation in medium and large IT environments
* Ideally, basic knowledge of client software distribution, Citrix systems, and the ITIL framework

* German language skills corresponding to level C1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages and standard IT English skills
* Willingness to travel within Lower Saxony
* Willingness to undergo a successful security check in accordance with §of the Nds. SÜG
