Global Head of Sales Data Architecture (f/m/d)The Global Head of Sales Data Architecture is the global owner of Siemens’ sales data foundation. In this high‑impact leadership role you will shape the architecture that underpins our seller and customer journeys. You will drive harmonization of our data governance and sales tooling ecosystems, innovate and increase efficiency globally working closely with IT, relevant sales and other stakeholders. You will lead a team of experts and collaborate closely with Sales, IT and corporate functions to ensure sales data is accurate, accessible and consistently structured across business units and regions. This role drives company‑wide alignment in sales data management and governance. Your work will enable data‑driven decision making, improve sales productivity and unlock measurable business value by harmonizing and governing sales data as a strategic asset.What we create impact byOwning the vision for the global sales data domain and aligning it with business objectives.Defining data ownership, stewardship and accountability across the sales data landscape.Establishing governance structures to ensure data quality, consistency and compliance.Embedding governance into policies for data usage and lifecycle management, including regulatory requirements.Defining and driving implementation of a global end‑to‑end architecture for Siemens sales domain in close partnership with IT, ensuring it supports unified seller and customer journeys.Driving harmonization of sales data models across divisions and regions.Enabling seamless integration of sales data across the application landscape (CRM, ERP, CPQ, sales enablement tools).Staying ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies to refine and enhance the sales data strategy.Ensuring robust processes for building and managing data products aligned with sales objectives.Driving overarching data quality rules, KPIs and scorecards to guarantee accuracy, completeness and reliability of sales data.Steering prioritization and investment for sales data initiatives in line with organizational goals.Embedding a culture of continuous improvement in data operations.Leading, developing, and growing a team currently ~8 FTE, with potential expansion.Acting as the diplomatic “glue” between sales, IT and corporate functions to align diverse interests.Serving as a key interface to global transformation programs, ensuring alignment and joint success.Engaging closely with country sales organizations to understand needs and translate them into globally scalable data solutions.Education & ExperienceMaster’s degree in Business Administration, Information Management, Computer Science, or a related field.Extensive experience in data management, including proven success in leadership roles.Strong background in sales operations and sales systematics; able to translate sales requirements into data frameworks.Proven success in implementing data governance and architecture strategies in complex, global organizations.Technical & Business SkillsIn‑depth knowledge of data management principles, domain architecture and governance frameworks.Fluency with sales processes, CRM systems and related data landscapes.Strong grasp of data quality assurance, KPIs and lifecycle management.Ability to connect strategic vision with practical adoption across global matrix organizations.Leadership & Soft SkillsStrong leadership experience in managing and developing high‑performing, diverse teams.Excellent influencing, communication and stakeholder management skills — from country sales leaders to IT executives.Strategic thinker with proven ability to navigate complex politics and build consensus across business units.Inspirational leader who can balance long‑term vision with pragmatic delivery.Desirable QualificationsExperience in the automation industry or related sectors.Familiarity with enterprise‐scale business processes and data landscapes.Certifications in data management (e.g., DAMA, CMMI).Proficiency in English; German or other languages are a plus.What we offer youAn attractive remuneration package (total target compensation depending on seniority and experience).Access to Siemens employee share plans.30 days of paid vacation and a variety of flexible work schedules.2–3 days of mobile working per week as a global standard.Flexible training opportunities for both your professional and personal development.We are an equal‑opportunity employer.
