Sixteen Tons Entertainment, developer of the renowned EMERGENCY series, is looking for a Senior Fullstack Game Developer with a focus on backend development and maintenance, to join its team of passionate game developers on-site in its studio in Berlin or Tübingen.
As Senior Fullstack Game Developer, you will play a key role in creating high-quality game experiences. You will work closely together with game designers, artists and project managers. While being involved in the whole development process, your key responsibilities will include maintenance as well as further development of existing game backends. Implementing server-side logic for new gameplay features, further development of the in-house live operations platform, as well as assisting with backend infrastructure administration.
What we are looking for:
* At least 5 years of working experience with a professional game or application development team.
* Excellent C# and PHP skills.
* Good MySQL skills.
* Good JavaScript skills.
* You have no difficulties working with large software projects and understanding existing codebases.
* Ability to communicate effectively in English.
* EU citizenship or a valid working permit for Germany.
* A passion for games.
Great to have:
* Experience with any popular JavaScript UI Framework.
* Experience with 3d game development in Unity.
* Experience with mobile games development and especially free-to-play games.
