Global business consulting company is looking to hire a Payroll Expert to lead their payroll delivery out of Dusseldorf, Germany (Hybrid, full time).
How does the job look like
1. Responsible for overseeing and directing payroll procedures, ensuring compliance with laws and tax obligations, supervising the payroll team, and maintaining accurate payroll records
2. Coordinate activities with other client departments to ensure successful testing and implementation of tax updates, year-end testing on multiple or single payroll ERP for all regions
3. Broad understanding and ability to research and interpret payroll laws
4. Ensures compliance with applicable payroll tax and labor law requirements
Your profile
5. Minimum of 2-3 years of experience of German payroll processing experience
6. Experience to work with international (offshore) teams
7. Good experience in coordinating Payroll inputs and validation
8. Experience in HRMS/ERP like (SAP, SuccessFactors, workday etc.) and in MS Office
9. Fluency in Germany and in English
