EPAM is looking for a Business Development Director to join our sales team in southern Germany in a flexible hybrid working setup. This newly created role will drive growth across a strategic vertical in the German market by collaborating closely with our internal Consulting, Marketing, Alliances and Delivery teams, as well as regional partners.
As the key connector, you bring together prospects, clients and expert teams of account managers, strategists, consultants and technologists to spark collaboration and deliver a broad range of innovative solutions. Your coordination transforms diverse expertise into impactful results for our clients.
Responsibilities
Drive new account acquisition and optimize sales funnels through strategic planning and competitive analysis.
Lead strategic client engagement for key accounts by employing advanced negotiation and problem‑solving skills.
Oversee the preparation of business value propositions, sales plans, RFPs/RFQs/RFIs; serve as liaison to Business Units, sales, partner and executive teams.
Collaborate with EPAM teams regarding joint opportunities, including pipeline and forecast reviews.
Work with the assigned partner manager to identify, prepare and deliver product messaging that demonstrates EPAM value proposition as a trusted systems integrator.
Drive joint marketing initiatives with marketing teams.
Requirements
Proven track record of selling IT services to the Defence sector in Germany, including Tier 1 and Tier 2 clients.
Strong relationships and network‑building skills: thrive on meeting people and networking.
Solutions‑selling skills and demonstrated success in developing and maintaining client and internal relationships.
Excellent communication skills across teams, with strong verbal, written, collaboration and interpersonal abilities.
Fluency in German and English is required.
