The ideal candidate will be responsible for working with senior management to develop financial strategies for the organization. You are comfortable handling large amounts of data, acting as a business partner, decision maker, and providing regular financial reporting.
Responsibilities
* Close cooperation with local & central leadership
* Analysis of financial performance within the logistics operation
* Monitoring of KPIs and operational performance and identifying business opportunities
* Support and preparation of financial data for business decision making
* Partnering with senior leadership to encourage profitability across the operation
* Lead month/year end financial reporting
* Preparation of profitability analyses for projects
* Business partnering with customers to maximise operational profitability
Qualifications
* A practiced experience within a commercial finance role
* Experience within a service providing business is preferred with a strong preference for the logistics industry
* A strong written and verbal communication level in both German and English
* Strong skills on Microsoft Excel (SharePoint & Power BI are advantageous but not essential)
* Detail-oriented and analytical personality with a commercial approach to finance
* Candidates must be comfortable working full time on site in Hammersbach for at least an initial 6 month period
