Continuously analyze system workflows to identify and implement enhancements in performance, monitoring, and reliability. Configure and optimize systems for existing customers, from technical planning to hands-on implementation. Lead automation efforts by building and maintaining tools and scripts using Python, Bash, or similar technologies. Investigate, document, and escalate technical issues through Jira, partnering with development and product teams to resolve them. Conduct thorough root-cause analysis and resolution of customer support tickets from end to end. Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including Application Management, Development, and Product—to ensure smooth operations and delivery. Maintain clear and up-to-date operational documentation, such as in Confluence, and ensure accuracy over time. What you'll need A degree in IT or completed vocational training is great - but a strong passion for technology can be just as valuable. A customer-focused mindset and the ability to support and advise clients effectively. Basic knowledge of Linux and command-line tools (e.g., Bash). Curiosity and enthusiasm for emerging technologies, including AI. Experience with data recognition or electronic data interchange (EDI) systems is a plus. Familiarity with ITO tools such as Git, CheckMK, Docker, SaltStack, Jira, or Confluence is a big advantage. Some scripting or programming experience is helpful—especially for understanding and working with our proprietary mapping solutions. Very good written and spoken German and English skills.
