Position: MES Siemens Opcenter Solution Architect
Contract: 6 month initial contract with potential for extension
Location: Grosswallstadt, Germany (hybrid)
Key Responsibilities:
* Design and implement MES solutions to support manufacturing operations and digital transformation.
* Conduct fit-gap analyses and create functional specifications, workflows, and data models.
* Lead MES deployment projects including configuration, testing, validation, and go-live.
* Maintain a unified MES code base and ensure global consistency.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders.
* Ensure compliance with GxP and support documentation, audits, and validation.
* Provide technical guidance, troubleshooting, and user training.
* Support MES upgrades, enhancements, and integration with enterprise systems.
Key Requirements:
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or related field.
* 8–10 years of experience designing and implementing MES solutions (e.g., Siemens Opcenter, Camstar, or similar).
* Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, industrial automation, and IIoT technologies.
* Familiarity with GxP, ITIL, and tools such as ServiceNow or Jira.
* Proficiency in SQL, scripting, and data integration.
* Experience working in complex, global organizations.
* Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
