Hauptaufgaben
INTRODUCTION:
This position works for 7th Army Training Command (7ATC), G4. Serves as Supply Clerk in charge of a storage area. Coordinates and controls the issue, turn-in, and storage of troop issue equipment and supplies such as tents, beds, stoves, etc. Ensures correctness, completeness and proper condition of turned-in material; supervises and instructs military detail personnel in the repair of equipment.
MAJOR DUTIES:
Receives and checks incoming material and equipment against transaction documents; ensures correctness, completeness and proper condition. Notes shortages, damages, unserviceability and other deficiencies and initiates corrective action and repair, as required. Supervises and directs military detail personnel in the repair of equipment. Prepares receiving report and signs for proper receipt of material.
Coordinates receipt and turn-in of equipment and selects proper storage locations IAW supply storage and safety regulations and procedures. Applies proper storage methods to insure accessibility of items for issue, inventory and inspection considering quantity of material received future requirements, turnover rate and similar factors. Exercises care in the storage of material to be protected against heat, cold, moisture or other adverse influences or which present a safety hazard. Preserves material as required. Periodically surveys storage area for proper utilization of storage space, safe and secure storing. Assures clean and orderly condition of storage area. Participates in regular and special inventories.
Assembles and coordinates issue of material IAW issue documents. Is required to operate a motor vehicle and an electric, gasoline or diesel powered material handling equipment (MHE). Required to occasionally operate forklift of up to 30,000 pounds / ca. 13,5t capacity. Participates in loading and unloading of material. Periodically checks and assembles equipment for maintenance requirements.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifikationsanforderungen
C-4:
E&T Level I: 1 year of creditable experience that included clerical work in an office or store, working with computers, bookkeeping, making and recording inventories, telephone marketing, arranging for events or as a cashier, etc.
E&T Level I: 1 Jahr allgemeine Buerotaetigkeit, wie z. B. Computeranwendung, Buchfuehrung, Inventuren, Telefon- oder Organisationsarbeit oder Kassierertaetigkeit.
Current employees who do not meet E&T Level I and who are not in the same or similar occupation, must have 2 years of creditable experience that included clerical work in an office or store, working with computers, bookkeeping, making and recording inventories, telephone marketing, arranging for events or as a cashier, etc. /
Innerbetriebliche Arbeitnehmer, die den E&T Level I nicht haben und zur Zeit nicht in einer gleichen oder aehnlichen Stelle arbeiten, benoetigen 2 Jahre allgemeine Buerotaetigkeit, wie z. B. Computeranwendung, Buchfuehrung, Inventuren, Telefon- oder Organisationsarbeit oder Kassierertaetigkeit.
E&T Level II and above: No additional experience required. / E&T Level II und hoeher: Keine zusaetzliche Erfahrung erforderlich.
Current employees who have served one year in the same or similar occupation are qualified for the next higher grade. / Innerbetriebliche Arbeitnehmer, die bereits 1 Jahr im gleichen oder aehnlichen Taetigkeitsbereich beschaeftigt sind, qualifizieren fuer den naechst hoeheren Bezahlungsgrad.
Bewerber müssen den Führerschein Klasse B und C1 besitzen. / Applicants must be in possession of a German driver's license class B and C1.
Gabelstaplerfuehrerschein erforderlich. / Forklift Operator License erforderlich.
Bewerber muessen in der Lage sein einen Militaer Führerschein zu erwerben und zu behalten. / Applicants must be able to obtain and maintain a military driver's license.
