Overview
Cloud Solution Architect (CSA), specializing in Data Security, who is passionate about driving customers’ security and AI transformation on the Microsoft Platform. The role is a trusted advisor for customers securing their data estates against internal and external data risk. Microsoft Purview’s integrated Data Security services support holistically securing data with capabilities such as data discovery, protection, insider risk management, and data loss prevention.
Responsibilities
* Drive positive customer satisfaction and act as a trusted advisor, providing feedback and insights from customers/partners. Be the Voice of Customer to share insights with Global Security teams, Engineering, and Product teams to remove blockers and influence the solution roadmap.
* Land an end-to-end value proposition for Security (Zero Trust) spanning the breadth of Microsoft Security offerings, with a focus on Data Protection, Threat Protection, Identity + Access Management, and Cloud Security.
* Support customers through the adoption lifecycle—planning, deployment, and optimization—while driving increased utilization of Microsoft security products and leading technical solutioning across the customer journey.
* Deliver technical presentations and demos, propose high-level solutions, and collaborate with Microsoft and Partner resources to drive deployment and customer adoption. Identify cross-sell/upsell/Unified opportunities through customer engagement.
* Align individual skilling to team/area demands and Customer Success goals; accelerate customer outcomes by sharing expertise and contributing to IP creation and reuse.
* Lead Architectural Design Sessions to build a plan for implementing the solution, ensuring design aligns with customer business goals and technical environment, resulting in consensus on design and next steps toward production.
* Collaborate with other Cloud Solution Architects and MS stakeholders (FastTrack, partners, and Microsoft Consulting) to develop complex end-to-end Enterprise solutions on the Microsoft Security platform.

Qualifications
* Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business or related field and 5+ years of experience in Data Security / Information Security Management, or related field, plus 3+ years in cloud infrastructure, IT consulting/support, systems administration, architecture and/or software development.
* 8+ years of experience in a customer-facing role
* 8+ years of experience on technical projects
* Technical Certification in On-Premise and Cloud (e.g., Azure, AWS, Google, security certifications)
* Experience in end-to-end implementation of Data Security projects and understanding of Microsoft Purview architectures (eDiscovery, Information Protection, Data Loss Prevention, Information Risk Management) at enterprise scale
* Good understanding of the data security market, regulatory requirements (ISO27001, NIS-2, TISAX), and current developments in data security
* Experience with Microsoft 365 services and/or Azure data services (SharePoint, Teams, Office 365, SQL, Azure Data Lake)
* Subject Matter Expertise in at least two of the following areas: Microsoft Purview eDiscovery, Information Protection, Data Loss Prevention, Insider Risk Management
* Customer-focused mindset as a trusted technical advisor; ability to realize value for customers
* Knowledge of Threat Protection, SIEM/EDR, SOAR, SOC management, Identity and Access Management, Cloud Infrastructure/Security/Data Security; certifications in Microsoft 365 Security, Microsoft Security Operations, Cloud Security, CCSP, CEH, OSCP, GSEC are preferred
