Your role Lead and develop a team of industry analysts focussed on market sizing and analysis within our Statista research unit, ensuring high-quality strategic market analysis and thought leadership. Consult and guide clients through multi-method, tailored research projects, providing clear recommendations and strategic insights that drive their business decisions. Design the optimal research approach in collaboration with cross-functional experts, and present, align, and refine proposals directly with clients. Continuously coach and upskill team members, fostering individual growth and ensuring the team meets evolving market and client needs. Apply, refine, and advance our portfolio of research methodologies to consistently deliver innovative, high-value solutions that exceed client expectations. Drive strategic initiatives that strengthen your team’s performance and contribute to the overall development and positioning of the Statista unit. Your profile Degree in economics, business, or a related analytical field, ideally at Master’s level 3-5 years experience in market research or strategic market analysis, including client-facing project work Proven leadership skills with experience coaching and developing team members Strong analytical, communication and presentation skills, with excellent command of Excel and PowerPoint High client orientation, structured working style and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment Curiosity for innovation in research methods and a strong affinity for AI-driven tools and approaches Fluent German and English skills, both written and spoken, to work effectively with clients and internal teams What we offer In addition to our great team, culture, and our shared goal of empowering people with data, there are many other things that make Statista a great place to work!
