Senior Sales Consultant
Remote | Contracting | Automotive Embedded Software
Location: Remote (Germany strongly preferred)
Contract Type: Daily Rate + Travel Expenses + Commission (% of Revenue)
Commitment: Initial 12-Month Contract (potential extensions)
Rate: Up To €550 per day (depending on experience) + commission (% of revenue)
We’re partnering with a well-established embedded software engineering company that’s driving innovation across the automotive, IoT, semiconductor, and consumer electronics sectors. As they expand across Europe, we're searching for a Senior Sales Consultant to lead their business development efforts in the DACH region — with a particular focus on the automotive industry in Germany.
This is a fully remote, high-trust role ideal for a senior-level, well-connected professional who understands the software engineering services landscape and thrives in solution-based, consultative sales.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Spearheading business growth across Germany and Western Europe, with a primary focus on automotive OEMs, Tier 1s, and SoC vendors
* Driving demand for team augmentation, fixed-term engineering projects, and outcome-based embedded software services
* Leveraging your existing network to identify and close high-value opportunities
* Collaborating closely with the Sales Manager and technical leadership to align customer needs with capabilities
* Managing the full sales cycle from lead generation to close — with minimal reporting overhead and maximum autonomy
* Occasionally visiting clients (expenses covered) to build deeper relationships
What We’re Looking For
* A well-connected sales consultant or business developer based in Germany (preferred) or Western Europe
* Proven experience in selling embedded software engineering services, ideally to automotive customers
* Strong network within SoC vendors, OEMs, Tier 1s, or engineering services providers in the automotive space
* Ability to operate independently while keeping alignment with leadership
* Comfortable pitching T&M, team augmentation, and outcome-based services
* Fluent in English with a strong preference for professional German language skills
