To strengthen our team in Department 3104 – Windows Server, Fabric, Containerization, Storage & Backup, we are seeking a Citrix VAD System Administrator (f/m/d) Your responsibilities: As part of a team, you will manage portions of the IT infrastructure used by the Lower Saxony judiciary, based on solutions from providers such as Microsoft, Citrix, NetApp, FSAS, RedHat, Citrix, Veeam, and others. You will contribute to IT projects, such as the introduction of new technologies, the modernization of existing infrastructures, or the implementation of automation and cloud solutions. What sets you apart: A relevant college degree (e.g., computer science) or equivalent skills and experience Strong proficiency in working with Citrix technologies, particularly the server side of Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (e.g., PVS, StoreFront) and the Citrix XenServer virtualization platform Ideally, you have prior experience in the operation and administration of Citrix environments in hybrid or cloud scenarios (e.g., Citrix Cloud) as well as in integration with modern Windows server and client operating systems. Additionally, we would welcome experience in automating recurring tasks and processes, e.g., using PowerShell scripts or configuration management tools. Ability to work in a team, initiative, and service orientation German language skills corresponding to level C1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, as well as English language skills at a level customary in the IT industry Willingness to undergo a security clearance check in accordance with Section 7(1) of the Lower Saxony Security Clearance Act (Nds.
