Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Service Manager to oversee the after-sales service operations for Yuchai equipment (excavators, wheel loaders, skid steer loaders) within Europe. The ideal candidate will be primarily based in Germany and will serve as the key point of contact for after-sales support, ensuring high customer satisfaction and efficient resolution of technical issues.
Key responsibilities and duties:
· On-site Support & Troubleshooting:
* Provide on-site technical assistance to customers and dealers for resolving complex or unresolved issues, ensuring timely and effective solutions.
· Dealer Training & Major Fault Resolution:
* Conduct service training for European dealers and support them in handling major technical failures.
* Assist in making training materials and courses
· Establishment of Local Aftersales Procedures:
* Assist in developing and implementing local service & parts management processes and operational procedures to improve efficiency and service quality.
· Cross-Region Support & Communication:
* Collaborate with regional and global teams to align on technical updates, product improvements, and service strategies.
Requirements:
* 5 years of experience in after-sales service, technical support, or maintenance, preferably in the construction equipment, machinery, or automotive sectors.
* Strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
* Familiarity with diagnostic tools and service manuals, ability to analyse and solve complex technical issues.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused mindset, ability to handle escalations and ensure high customer satisfaction.
* Flexible to work additional hours when required
* Fluent in German and Proficient in English
